TDLE in PBL for Concept Investigation and Verification

In our Concept Labs, every experiment follows a structured cycle of investigation and concept verification. Using hundreds of global-standard apparatus, thousands of experiments have been carefully designed by a research scientist for all subtopics in every chapter of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics, from Upper Prep to A Levels. Students begin with precise measurements, systematic data recording, and tabulation using experimental setups to generate reliable evidence for each concept. They then engage in graph plotting, data analysis, calculations, and error analysis to evaluate accuracy, identify patterns, and understand relationships between variables. Through result interpretation and drawing logical conclusions, students scientifically verify each concept within the subtopic, ensuring deep conceptual mastery and the ability to confidently apply concepts in structured problem solving.

In the PBL-TDLE framework, Teaching by Demonstrations and Learning by Experiments (TDLE) is the core process through which students investigate and verify every concept scientifically. The teacher first demonstrates the concept through experimental setups, after which students perform measurements, record and tabulate data, and analyse results through graph plotting and calculations with error analysis.

What Students Do During Demonstrations and Experiments

During demonstrations and experiments, students actively observe the experimental setup, make predictions, and connect the demonstration to the concept being taught. They perform precise measurements using scientific apparatus, record observations, tabulate data, and carefully document each step in a structured format similar to a scientific investigation. Students then plot graphs, analyse data, apply formulas for calculations, evaluate errors and uncertainties, and interpret the results to identify patterns and relationships between variables. Based on evidence from experiments and graphical analysis, they verify concepts and draw logical conclusions, strengthening conceptual clarity and application skills. In our PBL-TDLE framework, teaching is conducted in this manner every day as a regular mode of classroom instruction. Every minute, students remain actively engaged in demonstrations, investigations, experiments, data analysis, and structured problem solving, ensuring continuous participation, deep understanding, and lasting concept mastery.

Investigations and Experiments @The Creator

Thousands of carefully structured experiments have been designed by a research scientist from a leading national research institute, covering every subtopic of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics from Upper KG to Grade 12. These experiments ensure systematic concept development, investigation, and verification at every level, making deep conceptual learning a continuous and age-appropriate process across all classes.

The labs provided by The Creator International School, Khamgaon helped me develop a passion for research from high school. The hands-on experience with advanced technology was invaluable in shaping my career path.
